Position #1: Ice Arena Concessions & Ticket Booth:

Responsible for greeting the public, managing inventory, handling cash, balancing a cash register, and preparing & serving food products.

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work with food preparation.
• Able to demonstrate strong customer service skills.
• Line cook experience is preferred.

Position #2: Ice Arena Maintenance / Zamboni Trainee:

Duties include completing mechanical and general maintenance tasks. Assists with operation of equipment such as the resurfacer, ice edger, and other related equipment in order to prepare facilities for practices, games, and events. Assists with monitoring the temperature and humidity levels. Must take direction from senior Zamboni driver on tasks related to ice resurfacing.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent, and valid State of Michigan Operator's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to drive mechanical equipment (i.e. Zamboni vehicle); ascend/descend 12-foot ladder; stand/walk for long periods of time; work in cold temperatures; lift arms above head (i.e. change light bulbs, wash windows, etc.); and lift up to 60 pounds.

Wages:

• Flexible schedule up to 28 hours per week, including early morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Hourly wage from $15.00, depending on qualifications.
